El Indio Cocina Mexicana, located at 3930 W 63rd St in Chicago, is garnering attention for its authentic Mexican flavors and inviting atmosphere. Most diners rave about the deliciousness of the dishes. Kathleen Casey praises the "fresh squeezed orange juice," while Andre Sudor highlights the restaurant's ability to cater to both vegetarian and meat preferences, making it a family-friendly spot. However, the dining experience isn't without its hiccups. Sandra Rivas mentions a lengthy wait at the drive-thru, and she found some dishes—like the guacamole—lacking in flavor. In contrast, Pedro Garcia calls the food "bomb" and points to the appealing prices as a major asset. The consistent feedback about the service, especially from Angelbaby69isme, is quite encouraging; a friendly and efficient server can make all the difference in a dining experience.Overall, El Indio Cocina Mexicana offers a blend of satisfying meals that resonate with many. Whether you are seeking a quick bite or a cozy family dinner, this restaurant is worth checking out for its diverse offerings and generally positive experiences.

Waited over 25 minutes in the drive thru line. Torta de milanesa is decent but the guac had no flavor. Decent place to eat

I love the food here, plus this a place me and my family could come to to eat, because I prefer vegetarian food and my wife and kids prefer meat.

The food was bomb and loved the prices. You can't go wrong with this spot. Only visited once, but overall it was good.

The food is good, and they have traditional Mexican plates. My favorite is the Milanesa de res and Nopales. I ordered a chicharron taco for the first time, but it was extremely spicy that I couldn't eat it at all. Yhey have vegetarian plates too but I haven't tried them yet. The atmosphere is easygoing and family. The service is fast. The prices are reasonable. Every time I am in the area, I go there. The venue is always clean and they have parking.

My boyfriend's family, a few of my friends, and I have ate here and all have nothing but good things to say!! The staff are super friendly, the food is delicious & affordable, and it's cozy in there! I'm a vegetarian and was surprised and super pleased after my first time here because the vegetarian options are really tasty and more than is offered at some places (it's more than rice and beans for veggie options!). Loveee the nopalitos con panela!!!
